Today, I’m officially launching my presets over at www.levitijerinapresets.com. It’s been a long time coming, but I’m really excited to be releasing these presets as an opportunity to give photographers a starting place with their edits. In truth, there are very few, if any, presets that can truly adapt to every lighting or shooting situation. In actuality, as photographers, we’ve often sold presets as a means to ‘finally find your voice’ when the truth is that presets can only give life to a well-made photograph. Presets can’t fix bad lighting. Presets can’t fix poor composition.
Presets can’t fix bad photography.
So my goal with releasing presets is to give photographers a place to start, but then build out an educational process for them to grow and learn how to take their photography to the next level. A preset is applied after all the hard work is done, so my goal is to use this as a means to start talking about how we can create great images well before we ever see them on the computer.
